HSBC UK National Road Cycling Championships

From the 27th - 30th June 2019, The HSBC UK National Road Cycling Championships will take place in Norfolk and with so many exciting activities and events planned for the 4 days, we want to ensure that as many children and their families as possible take part in this event.

The National Road Championships have been taking place for many years now and attract some of the most elite riders, but this is the first time that Norfolk has hosted this event.

To celebrate this, Active Norfolk have created a booklet to get children involved and excited about the event.

Inside the booklet are 6 challenges specifically for children in key stage 2 to complete. The challenges have been designed to support what pupils are learning as well as some important health messages too. They will also find information of the history of British cycling, what's on across the festival as well as local cycling opportunities. The routes of both the time trail and road race are enclosed too.

The booklets are free and can be downloaded by following this link

We hope that you will also come out and support this high-profile event that is taking place in Norfolk. If you would to find out more information about the festival, then you can visit the British Cycling website at www.britishcycling.org.uk.
