Speech, Language and Communication Needs Survey
To help the Speech & Language service understand the needs of your setting, the East Coast Community Healthcare needs all Norfolk and Waveney settings and schools to complete an online survey about:
- the group of children you support who have Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
- your staff skill set in relation to Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
Do complete this survey if you are a:
- Pre-school
- Day Nursery
- Infant School
- Junior School
- Primary School
- Secondary School
- KS5 Provision
Do not complete the survey if you are a:
- Complex Needs School
- Childminder
- Professional Nanny
Please note for Norfolk Infant, Junior and Primary Schools your link speech and language therapist will use the contact details provided in this survey to contact you in the autumn term.
To complete the survey you will need to have the following information to hand:
- School roll information, including children with SLCN and the level of support they receive
- Staff training information relating to SLCN
- An idea of staff confidence relating to support children with SLCN
