Primary Phase data support and training from July 2020

Our primary phase data training and support offer for the academic year 2020-2021 will give more schools increased early access to data and ongoing support that is tailored to their individual needs. This offer will be built around an extended range of dashboards we have developed to support school, federation and MAT analysis.

Starting directly after primary assessment outcomes in July, our package will provide you with immediate access to full interactive analysis of early data supported by a termly programme for workshops and briefings.

The package price will be based on pupil numbers and can be bought for individual schools as well as groups such as MATs or federations. However, following the success of our bespoke work with groups of schools this year, we would like to encourage purchase as group where this is appropriate to support collaborative working.

The package will include:

  • Access to the full range of interactive dashboards updated through the year (EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS2, QLA)
  • All our workshops and briefings through the year, including:
    • Early results workshops in July
    • Question level analysis in September
    • Tailored workshops in November (e.g. infant, junior, small schools etc)
    • A series of six thematic twilight briefings across the year - these will be filmed to share with colleagues not able to attend the briefings in person.

In response to feedback, the price of the package will be based on pupil numbers, and the number of delegate places required at workshops and briefings.

The price of the standard package will be proportionate to the size of the school and the number of places on workshops and twilight briefings required. The cost will be a base cost of £100 + £1 per pupil. Additional delegate places will cost £100 for one place at all events.

    Example package costs

    Small school with 100 pupils

The cost would be £200 to include access to all the data dashboards, one place at all workshops and twilight briefings and access to all support materials produced.

Federation of four schools, with 600 pupils in total

If purchasing four places at all workshops and twilight briefings, the base cost would be £700 to include access to all the data dashboards, one place at all workshops and twilight briefings and access to all support materials produced. The additional three places would cost £300, bringing the total to £1000.

Package costs for Multi-Academy Trusts or other larger school groups

Large multi-academy trust with 4000 pupils

The base cost would be £4100 (£100 +4000 pupils *£1) to include access to all the data dashboards, one place for all workshops and twilight briefings, and access to all support materials produced. All the materials from the workshops and briefings would be available to share within the multi-academy trust.

If large groups of schools such as MATs would like more support with their data analysis, we are happy to adapt the package to include MAT specific workshops at a day rate of £650 / adviser. Our dashboards are built from the Norfolk pupil level database. We can also include data from academies based in other local authorities, subject to data sharing agreements and a charge of £100 per academy to cover the extra administrative work in obtaining and importing the non-Norfolk data.

    Illustrative MAT packages

Large multi-academy trust with 4000 pupils, with up to eight academies including Suffolk academies.

Base package: £4100 (including one place at all briefings and standard workshops)

Obtaining and importing Suffolk LA data for two academies: £200

MAT specific Early results workshop in July £650, to include support in analysing all academy data and set trust and academy priorities.

MAT specific half day KS2 Question level analysis workshop in September: £650

Half day data support session in each academy: 4 x £650

    Total cost £8200
