Norfolk Governance Network free Spring networking sessions

Norfolk Governance Network invite you to our free Spring networking sessions for school governors and trustees in Norfolk, supported by Norfolk County Council.

These are important opportunities for governors/trustees to learn more about developments in Norfolk and nationally.

This term we will be looking at the implications of the new Ofsted inspection framework for how governing bodies should be scrutinising and challenging to ensure an immersive curriculum and understanding the concept of deep dive.

We will also hear about the County Council's latest landscape and school place and sufficiency report including the SEND area transformation update.

You will get the chance to listen to educational specialists and meet like-minded governor colleagues from other local schools, discuss challenges and opportunities and exchange ideas for best practice. Refreshments will be provided.

You don't need to do any preparation, just bring an enthusiasm to do the best for pupils in your school and an appetite to learn about the changes affecting our schools and meet other governors
