Caring Together Tick Awards For Schools

Caring Together is a local charity commissioned by Norfolk County Council to raise awareness of and supporting Young Carers.

Identification and implementation of support is key to making sure these young people have the same opportunities as their peers and that support is put in place so they do not reach crisis point.

The Carer Friendly Tick Award - Education is a set of Quality Standards that was designed by Young Carers in Norfolk to encourage schools, colleges and universities to identify and support students that are caring for someone.

All schools that are not currently engaged with the scheme should have received a letter from Councillor Humphreys in support of the Friendly Tick Award Education.

If your setting would be interested in working towards the Carer Friendly Tick Award - Education, please email carerfriendlytick@caringtogether.org with the subject title 'Carer Friendly Tick Award - Education' or call us on 01480 499090.
