BT Barefoot Computing for Primary Schools

Over these past few months, the need for digital skills has never been more obvious. Teachers have increasingly had to bridge digital skills gaps and inequalities to ensure their pupils can continue learning.

Barefoot Computing from BT and Computing at School aims to empower teachers to bridge this gap by delivering the primary computing curriculum brilliantly (on or offline).

Through Barefoot, teachers can boost their subject knowledge and confidence with free workshops led by a trained volunteer, or explore helpful online guides which unpack computational thinking concepts and approaches.

Barefoot's free, downloadable lesson plans and resources help prepare pupils for the digital world with fun, fresh ideas that bring computing to life within almost any subject. They also help with planning and save valuable time!

Barefoot also provides a suite of home learning options, from offline activities families can work through together to online learning games children can play independently.

To give pupils the skills they need to make the most of life in a digital world head to www.barefootcomputing.org and register to get started.
