Exciting new announcements for new Fakenham special school

Plans are progressing for a new special school in Fakenham with Robert Speck appointed as the new headteacher of Duke of Lancaster School. The school will be modern specialist learning environment for up to 100 children and young people, aged between 5 and 16 with autism and complex communication and interaction needs.

The school will be run by the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academies Trust (SENDAT) and will hold a 6 week public consultation, starting 22 February to 4 April. There is a free online event on 25 February and you can access the questionnaire and book a place to attend at the event at: www.sendat.academy
