Promoting regular testing of households of school pupils

Last week we emailed schools to tell them about a new national scheme which will enable households with a school-age child to access regular asymptomatic Covid-19 testing. Any adults living in households with primary school, secondary school or college age children, including their childcare and support bubbles, are now able to access free Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) to take twice a week at home.

We would ask that any schools that have not already done so, to pass on this letter from Dr Louise Smith and myself to parents, to encourage participation in this initiative to support household testing.
