NorfolkRoad

Norfolk County Council Road Safety Team has been successful in attaining a grant bid from the Road Safety Trust, which will enable 100 schools to receive the Safe Journey Ahead - Road Safety Teacher Training for EYFS and KS1 pupils. This is free of charge.

For those who are part of the project, each delegate will receive three, one to one support sessions with a Road Safety expert, to offer support in embedding the life skill of Road Safety to your school and your pupils.

The aim of this project is to trial a new and innovative way to teach Road Safety at EYFS and KS1.

  • Planning Road Safety for your school

There are three follow up sessions, with a Road Safety expert who can offer support and guidance. These sessions will be presented at 2 months, 6 months and 12 months after the initial training.
