Tree Planting Projects for Schools (FREE Trees!)

The Queen's Green Canopy is an initiative to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by encouraging people to plant and protect trees as a legacy to Her Majesty's service to the nation.

Everyone, including from community groups, schools, scout groups, corporations, counties, councils and parishes, is encouraged to plant trees.

As part of this celebration schools are invited to accept the offer of free trees from the Woodland Trust both as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and to contribute towards Norfolk County Council's 1 Million Trees for Norfolk. The aim is to plant healthy trees that will not only survive but thrive for generations to come.

For more information on how to be involved, please see the The Queen's Green Canopy: Schools and 1 Million Trees for Norfolk websites.
