Reduce Single-Use Plastics with a new Award Scheme and Grants for Schools

Reduce

Launching next week (w/c 27 Sep), the brand new Reduce Single-Use Award Scheme encourages schools to minimise their use of throw away plastics and offers them the opportunity to apply for a one-off grant of £150 to get them started.

Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Recycles are calling for schools to sign up and start to reduce their use of single-use plastics and, in return, they will be rewarded with bronze, silver and gold awards to celebrate their progress. A specially designed resource pack provides all the information and support materials needed to guide you through the project, as well as a selection of curriculum linked activity ideas.

For further information, to register your school for the awards and apply for a grant please visit www.norfolkrecycles.com/reduce-single-use-for-schools.
