Summer Reading Challenge launches this month

Norfolk Libraries Service is encouraging people to sign up for its Gadgeteers Summer Reading Challenge to boost their reading skills during the school holidays.

This year's theme for the challenge is science and innovation, which will spark children's curiosity and encourage them to see the science and innovation in everyday objects. It's all free and kids can earn themselves stickers, a medal and a certificate by meeting their reading goal.

Families are invited to come along to their local libraries to sign up to the free science themed Gadgeteers reading challenge during July. With a whole programme of fun events taking place too at your local library, there's plenty to keep your kids busy and entertained during the holidays.

Please promote the summer reading challenge with your parents using the pdfs below.
