NEW Communication Hubs launching this half term!- Booking now open for Meeting 1

Over the last few months, the Early Years' Team at Norfolk County Council have been planning the launch of 5 new Communication Hubs in each of the following Norfolk districts. These Communication Hubs aim to provide local support and guidance to early years practitioners around supporting children's early speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).

  • Great Yarmouth & East
  • North Norfolk
  • Broadland
  • South Norfolk
  • Kings Lynn and West

We are now very pleased to announce that these 5 Hubs will be launching their first network meetings this half term (from Thursday 26th January) and booking for meeting 1 is now open! The first meeting will focus on the topic of Early Years 'Speech & Language Assessment and Intervention Tools' with CPD delivery from Cambridgeshire Community Services Speech and Language Therapy Team.

For more information about the Communication Hubs, including meeting dates, times and venues, please see the flyer attached.

Booking is via the Early Years Provider Portal (linked in the top right corner of the flyer) and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We would welcome attendance from any early years practitioners, childminders, reception class teachers, teaching assistants, SENDCo's and primary headteachers based in Norfolk, with an interest in improving support for children's early speech, language and communication development in their school or setting.
