Norwich Crown County and Family Courts Open Day - FREE!
Norwich Crown, County and Family Courts are hosting an Open Day on Thursday 6 April 2023 from 10am to 3pm. This will be a great opportunity for all ages to see the administration of justice in action as well as peek behind the scenes of a busy court centre serving its local community.
There will be a variety of stalls manned by many different agencies and organisations including the police, CPS, Magistrates, probation, His Majesty's Prison Service, CAFCASS and charities working with victims and offenders.
In addition, each courtroom will offer something of interest:
- Mock trials and sentences, one of which will be run entirely by students
- Presentations about roles within the justice system, about mediation and a Q & A with our women judges
Plus there will be other activities such as a tour of the cells and the chance to see meet a sniffer dog.
