The aim of 'Road Safety Week' is for schools, organisations, and communities to share important road safety messages.

This year's theme is Let's talk about speed encouraging communities and professionals to raise awareness of the dangers of excess or inappropriate speed. Helping people to understand why safe speeds are so vital for safe and healthy journeys.

If you are a primary/secondary school who want to start conversations and deliver key road safety messages regarding speed, to; children, parents, teachers, and your local communities why not take part and sign up!

By signing up you will receive free resources, information, videos, and posters to help you plan and promote this campaign across your school's community.

To register and take part in Road Safety Week visit Road Safety Week Brake. Everyone who registers can use the Road Safety Week action pack that is full of road safety ideas and activities.

To be in with a chance to win a FREE 8FT x 3FT school banner, to encourage safe speeds outside your school, please complete this short survey - BRAKE Road Safety Week Survey - telling and showing us about the amazing things your school did to support this campaign.

Closing date - 15 December 2023.

*Two schools will be selected at random and contacted to see if they wish to use students' designs or a standard designed banner.
