Sustainability lesson resources for Primary and Secondary schools

Vattenfall and EVERFI have teamed up to offer sustainability lesson resources to Norfolk and North Suffolk Primary and Secondary schools.

Sustainability Foundations: Ready to Recycle is aimed at 9-11-year-olds and explores what recycling is, the ways products can be reused and the impact of sustainable recycling vs. wish cycling.

Sustainability Foundations: Plant, Animals and Our World is aimed at 11-14-year-olds and explores natures interconnected systems. The course introduces learners to the concept that our world is made up of interconnected systems, governed by natural principles, and the impact that their choices have on these systems.

Both courses are interactive, engaging and comes with supporting lesson plans and PowerPoints. They have great curriculum links, which are detailed on our platform.

Teachers can register to the EVERFI platform to access these resources:

  • Head to www.everfiteachers.co.uk/register
  • Select United Kingdom and enter your schools name or postcode.
  • Enter your info and click create account.
  • Head to 'explore courses' where you will find both courses - you can click details to demo the course and see the offline resources or click 'add to class' to begin creating your own class.

You will be able to demo the course to see a student's view, create a new class and invite students to your class using the unique registration code.
