Teacher Encounters

The New Anglia Careers Hub in partnership with The East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) are excited to be able to offer Norfolk and Suffolk secondary schools the opportunity to take part in our Teacher Encounters project.

Teacher encounters are an opportunity for the education workforce to spend time with and learn from people in industry. These opportunities offer professional learning in a different context that can be brought back into the classroom and passed on to students.

The Careers Hub and EEEGR have organised a full day CPD programme to take place on either 3 or 4 July 2024 at Orbis Energy, suitable for teachers of Science and Design Technology. We are inviting schools to send up to 4 members of staff to attend the day, we can offer funding to schools for associated cover costs along with associated travel expenses.
