School admission policy : 2024/25 (Agreed)
In the event of oversubscription at the Belfry CEVA Primary School, children will be admitted in the following order of priority:
1. Children with a statement of Special Educational Needs naming the school;
2. Looked after children;
3. Those living in the villages of Overstrand, Sidestrand and Trimingham;
4. Those with a brother or sister attending the school (including adopted and stepsiblings);
5. Those who, or whose parents, have a faith or are committed church members, and, in the case of parents, wish their child to receive a Christian Education;
6. Children of staff who have been employed at the school for more than 2 years, have been recruited to fill a vacant post where there is a demonstrable skills shortage
7. Those living nearest to the school according to the shortest useable route distance as the crow flies, as defined in the Diocesan Board of Education guidance published in October 2019
