Threshold Assessment 2010/11: Round 11
Further to MI 16/11, please note that Round 11 threshold application forms have now been published on the DfE website. In the interim, upon enquiry, schools were advised to amend and use the Round 10 application forms as required, for Round 11. NB: The only changes to the Round 11 application forms involve the words Round 11 and DfE (formerly DCSF) and that Threshold Round 10 guidance is still applicable.
Therefore, please note that the 'Threshold Assessment 2009/10, Round 10: Guidance' also applies to Round 11 applications as the application and assessment process has not changed.
As a reminder, an independent review of teacher professional standards was launched in March and the Teachers' Standards Review Group will submit an interim report to the Secretary of State in July 2011, setting out the recommendations for the standards required of teachers to acquire QTS and to pass induction (Core).
A final report is expected during the autumn term making recommendations for the entire suite of teachers' standards, with the new revised standards planned to come into effect from September 2012.
For information, the Office of Manpower Economics has published a report of research undertaken for the School Teachers' Review Body on Teachers' Pay 2010/11 and this can be accessed here.
