Recording Impact Data for One to One Tuition
One to One Tuition places in 2010/11 were allocated to schools on the understanding that impact data would be submitted to the LA at the end of the academic year. This will provide invaluable evidence on the effectiveness of tuition for all students across Norfolk and particularly for vulnerable groups.
As highlighted in both primary and secondary One to One Tuition newsletters and through key briefings, the deadline for submitting impact data for pupils receiving One to One Tuition in the academic year 2010/11 is the 24th June.
Some schools have reported technical difficulties with SERCO/SIMS data recording packages and we are therefore recommending this spreadsheet as an alternative method of submitting the data. Where schools have taken up 50+ tuition places we are offering to pre-populate the spreadsheet with data from the DfE site. If you would like to take up this offer please contact Tim Webb - tim.webb@norfolk.gov.uk
Where tuition has not yet been completed please enter all details up to and including the pre-tuition level for each child who has started but has not yet finished their tuition sessions.
E1 schools
Once you have completed the marksheet* it can be accessed by the LA. There is no need to send it to us.
SIMS and SERCO schools able to use MIS export and schools using spreadsheet
Please send us your completed file via Anycomms. You will need to allocate the file name as follows:
nnnn _1to1_summer11 (nnnn being the school's four digit DfE number)
e.g. 4005_1to1_summer11
National Challenge schools reporting GCSE grades as the final assessment level would need to export files by the 9th September using the file name:
School DfE number followed by _1to1_autumn11
If you have any queries regarding impact data please contact Julia Idiens - julia.idiens@norfolk.gov.uk or 01603 307762
