Norfolk County Council is seeking the views of children and young people aged 10-25 about whether to build a new website for them.

We want to hear their views about whether or not they think this is a good idea.

The website would provide information and advice on a range of subjects plus information about young people's services in Norfolk.

We have developed a short survey to help us collect their views and would be grateful if you would be able to distribute the link to children and young people, Year 6 - 14 in your setting.

There is also an Easy Read version of the survey for children and young people who need it.

We really appreciate any help you can provide in helping us to reach as many children and young people as possible and would like to give assurance that all information received will only be used for the purpose described and be processed and held securely.

If the website is agreed, there is an option for children and young people to get involved in shaping the development of the website. We have therefore included a question in the survey asking if they wish to be involved and if so, asking them to provide their contact details. If they are under 18, we have asked for their parent / carer contact details as we will need to ask permission for them to get involved. If they are over 18, they have the option to give their own contact details or those of their parent / carer.

I would also like to reassure you that any personal information we receive from children or young people will be held securely and only used to send out invitations to focus groups or to send out links to further surveys about any developing website design and content.
