Parental Engagement in Norfolk schools - Survey of Best Practice

Norfolk’s Education & Training Strategy Group working in partnership with Educate Norfolk is running a campaign to review strategies and capture best practice for the effective engagement with parents/carers and families across Norfolk’s education & training providers.

To support this, we are inviting senior leaders in schools and colleges to contribute to this review by:

  1. Reflecting on current levels of engagement with parents/carers and reflect on areas for development
  2. Providing feedback on strategies for parental engagement and their levels of success or otherwise

To contribute, please download, complete and return the survey attached to this MI sheet to Paul Rapley at Taverham High School at p_rapley@taverhamhigh.org.

The results will be collated into a single resource which can then be shared across Norfolk’s schools, colleges and other providers. If colleagues wish to share their details to allow future collaboration and shared expertise this will be most welcome

In addition, participants will be invited to commit to a new Countywide standard for parental engagement and information sharing, which can be used for several purposes including self-evaluation and marketing.

The deadline for completion is 22 November 2019.

Thank you for your help with this work.
