Coping with Anxiety and Stress

For some children, young people and their families, his time of year can be particularly stressful with the build up to exams or assessments. This MI Sheet signposts to support for both pupils and staff to help them deal with worry and to develop healthy coping strategies and build resilience to cope with the pressure in their lives.

Primary

These resources will help your school to:

  • Deliver activities to build resilience in stressful situations.
  • Help pupils on how to manage anxiety, learn how stress may present and the impact it can have.
  • Share advice with pupils about managing their own stress
  • Create safe spaces where pupils can go if they're feeling overwhelmed.
