World Diabetes Day 14th November 2012
Last year over 2,600 drawings from primary aged children in Norfolk linked to World Diabetes Day were turned into a 'Book of Doodles' and donated to the Jenny Lind Diabetic Clinic at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Most schools will have some children with Diabetes in their family and community and this year we are encouraging schools to be aware of the day and to think about how it links to their work on healthy lifestyles and inclusion.
Over the next few months health professionals locally will be working to develop further guidance for schools. We would welcome hearing about your experiences and needs to help inform this guidance.
