Recording and Return of Assessment Information 2012 (Primary)

There are some changes this year to the statutory assessment data submission process, to reflect the changes to assessment of writing at Key Stage 2, and the introduction of the Phonics Screening Check for Year 1.

Timeline
Below are the latest dates for submission of assessment information. You will notice that the submission dates are earlier than Standards and Testing Agency (STA) deadlines. This is necessary to allow the Information Team time to ensure all submissions have been processed correctly .

LATEST DATE FOR SUBMISSION DATA TO BE SUBMITTED
*by Friday 22nd June (STA deadline 13th July) *unless awaiting externally marked Writing Test results, then 13th July. Key Stage 2 Teacher Assessments
  • including P Scales where appropriate
  • the writing teacher assessment will be combined with the reading test result to inform the overall English level
  • no test results (including writing) are required
  • to be uploaded onto STA's NCA Tools website https://ncatools.education.gov.uk/Home.aspx
  • by Friday 22nd June (STA deadline end of term) Key Stage 1 Teacher Assessments
  • P Scales where appropriate
  • no test results required
  • to be sent to Information Team via Anycomms

    by Friday 29th June (STA deadline end of term) Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Scores
  • to be sent to Information Team via Anycomms
  • before Friday 6th July (STA deadline end of term) Year 1 phonics screening results

  • DATA CHECKING
    from: Friday 13th July, *unless awaiting externally marked Writing Test results. Key Stage 1 and 2 Teacher Assessments
    Reports will be available for checking at > My School > KeyData > More Info > Attainment (provisional data).
    Schools are given the opportunity to check their results before they are published in RAISEonline. Any errors reported before the end of term can be corrected.

    Transfer Information 2012
    Guidance about the transfer of pupil information between schools in 2012 is being issued with a separate MI Sheet, and will be available on the Norfolk Schools website http://www.schools.norfolk.gov.uk by the end of April 2012.
